What is Impact 1 Hundred?
The purpose of the group is to promote philanthropy and engage women in the charitable opportunities of the community. Also, raise awareness and lead the members to become involved with a charity in a more personal way.

The concept of Impact1Hundred is simple. Annual donations of members are combined to award one large grant to fund a program or programs of Community Services. The group is open to all women of the community. The only requirements for membership are to be female and give and/or get $1,000 each year. Every dollar donated by the members is passed along to the selected program.

Community Services of Stark County offers a wide array of programs that will become the focus areas for the group. The focus areas include (but are not limited to) adoption services, Samaritan’s Table, Family Living Center, mental health & counseling services. A representative from Community Services will present a brief overview of each program when the group meets to establish membership. The group will meet several times a year to establish membership, review proposals and vote on the grant recipient.

Impact groups have been established successfully across the country including Cincinnati where the concept originated. The groups have generally reached their goal of 100 members by the third year of existence. Some have raised over $1,000,000.00 since beginning just 8 years ago.

Why Join?
While every gift to a non-profit is beneficial, the collective effect of Impact1Hundred is truly life-changing. With Impact1Hundred, many smaller gifts combine to become one large gift. For every 100 members, Impact1Hundred donates at least $100,000 to the programs of Community Services. The number and amount of grants are determined by the number of women who join Impact1Hundred. Your contribution provides a direct and immediate benefit: 100% of member contribution is given away each year as part of the collective grant. As a member, you will have voting rights which will enable you to be involved in choosing the program that is awarded the grant. Knowing where your money is going is an additional benefit.

Be a part of something bigger than you could do on your own. You get to feel like you gave $100,000 instead of $1,000.
